Halo 4. Concept Art takes a step in the direction of the ‘interactive’, ‘the dynamic’ and furthers your immersion into what is to come from the forthcoming; halo: the reclaimer trilogy.

This video is a cool little thing our video and audio team at 343 Industries threw together to give you a glimpse into some of Halo 4’s concept art, atmosphere and aesthetic ideas. Although you shouldn’t get too attached to any of the specific ideas or scenarios in here, it does represent some of our early, current and ongoing artistic effort.

This video originally debuted at the end of the Halo 4 panel at Halo Fest during PAX Prime 2011.

The Halo developer has now been in business for 20 years, and has marked the occasion with the release of an hour-long documentary, O Brave New World. It charts the company’s rise from relative obscurity to the Xbox’s most prized asset, and also counts as a farewell of sorts to the Halo series as it moves onto its first project for new parent Activision. That project is codenamed Tiger, with co-founder Jason Jones saying: “One reason that Tiger is so intriguing to so many people is that it’s reaching players in a way that we haven’t before.”
